U.S. Ski & Snowboard Member Services Knowledge Base

Can I still race with my points if I missed the deadline of the current list to renew my membership?

  • For Alpine, you may request a point confirmation for either U.S. Ski & Snowboard or FIS points. The cost for a U.S. Ski & Snowboard point confirmation is $100 after the appropriate membership fees have been paid.  The cost for a FIS points confirmation is $120 in addition to the cost of the FIS registration.  A points confirmation will take a minimum of 24 hours.  Note:  The fees are rather high to discourage athletes from taking advantage of this service as it creates more work for S. Ski & Snowboard and the FIS.  If there wasn’t a high fee, there would be no advantage to registering on time and point confirmations in Dec./Jan. would become a full-time job.
  • Other sports do not allow for a points confirmation.
